Chaiman's Message

Euxton Villa FC is over 100 years old and plays its football at Jim Fowler Memorial Ground, Runshaw Hall Lane, Euxton.  We are an FA Charter Standard Club and proud that we were one of the first 100 clubs in the country to attain FA Community Club status. This means we are a well organised football club that promotes fairness and equality, where our coaching staff have attained FA coaching qualifications, attended FA Child Protection workshops and are checked by the national Criminal Records Bureau. In essence children can develop their football skills with the help of qualified coaching staff in a safe environment. We currently have 14 teams which provide continuous football opportunities starting from 6 year olds to over 35’s. Our teams participate in the Mid Lanc’s Colts Junior Football League, Central Lanc’s Football League, Lancashire Evening Post Youth Division and West Lancashire Football League.

Our new club-house was officially opened in 2009 by Chorley MP, Lindsay Hoyle. This building came about as a result of years of fund raising and a grant from the Football Foundation.

Football is played on Saturdays and Sundays and fixtures are published on this website. So come and support our teams and enjoy a friendly half time cup of tea in our club house.

Incidentally we are always looking to create two new groups each season, a new girls section and an under 6 boys section. So if anyone wants to get involved in playing or coaching contact us via this web site or speak to any committee member/coach from the club.

Latest Club News

Euxton Villa are pleased to announce three new members have come on board our committee, they are David McDonnell as Club President, Kim Keyte as a committee member and Paul Skentelbery who has taken on the role as Sportsmans Dinner cordinator.

Our Chairman recently released his press message below........

“Graham Keyte is pleased to announce the appointment of David McDonnell as the club’s new President. David, who is the brother of First Team Manager Mark,  has supported the club for many years, particularly with the senior sides and the Sportsman’s Dinner and is now looking forward to becoming more involved in the development of the club.  This follows the appointments to the committee of Kim Keyte and Paul Skentelbery at the recent AGM. Kim has been involved with the club for the past 18 years and Paul has taken over the Sportsman’s Dinner mantle from Jeff Ralston. Both bring a lot of experience which I am sure the club will benefit”
